jef37 When producers take care to revive a soul album with the support of electro artists, this gives rise to completely crazy remixes mixing glitch hop, hip hop and trip hop styles. The result is daring but brilliant. These remixes were born in 2013 and always seem so fresh. Good job. Favorite track: Tell the Whole Wide World (Prof.Logik Re-Flux).

about

Corrugations is an eclectic collection of remixes from some of my favorite producers from all over the world. The idea was to bend my songs into new sounds that reflect other producers’ styles and techniques; I wanted to see what other directions the songs could go. Furthermore, Corrugations is an effort to end the Every Minute of the Day / Every Second of the Night saga, which has been an immense part of my life for the past decade.

The Bins Oakland, California

From rocks to coins to comic cards, Clark Barclay was a kid obsessed with collecting. Today, his grown-up fixation lives in the secondhand bins. Using rummaged found sounds, percussion instruments from all over the world, and strictly dollar bin records, The Bins tediously arranges sonic fragments into a mosaic; capturing an array of genres, cultures, and histories. ... more
